The Liebster Award, Spreading Some Blogging Love

SO even though I have been the worst blogger lately and I’ve been neglecting my blog, the kind people at Smartassy nominated me for the Liebster Award. I am super honored that they chose me for this award and of course all of you should check out their hilarious blog. Thank you for the nomination I am truly humbled.

Here are the “rules” of the Liebster Award:

– Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog and link back to the blogger who presented this award to you.

– Answer the 11 questions from the nominator, list 11 random facts about yourself, nominate 11 blogs who you feel deserve to be noticed, and create 11 questions for your nominees. (Blogs must have 200 followers or less. Let the blogger know you have nominated them.) <– I only did 5.

– Copy and paste the blog award on your blog.

The Questions from Smartassy:

1. What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?

I can’t even remember. I do embarrassing things ALL THE TIME.

2. Would you take the position of president/prime minister of your country if it were offered to you?

No, I just don’t think I would be able to bear the weight of the secrets I would have to carry around if I were to be president. But I definitely respect the man/woman who takes the job.

3. What’s your favorite thing about yourself?

My ability to dream big. I have always had big aspirations, ever since I was a little kid. And I feel as if those aspirations have shaped and defined who I am today. I love that those dreams have led me to take chances and risks that I otherwise would have never experienced.

4. What (if any) movie always makes you cry?

Well to be honest, many movies make me cry. But the first movie I could ever remember that made me cry was The Lion King, and to this day, it still does.

5. Why did you start your blog?

I started my blog because I felt like my voice as a twenty-something fresh out of college needed to be heard. As I like to say, no one ever warned me it would be this hard!  I am here to relate and connect to all of those other recent college grads. And by sharing my frustrations and experiences, I learned to love blogging.

Five Facts About Me:

1. I am a dual citizen of America and Hungary, and I speak both languages. But English is my preference.

2. I hate grocery shopping, it overwhelms me. And I am really bad at it.

3. I look longingly at dogs and puppies the way most people look at children and babies. I can’t help that dogs are just so much cuter.

4. The hardest decision I ever made was deciding at the age of 15 to go off to boarding school.

5. The greatest life lesson I have learned thus far is just to be happy and everything else will fall into place. Money, prestige, and success mean nothing if you aren’t happy.

My Questions to my nominees:

1. If the world were to end tomorrow, what would you do today?

2. Where is the the most beautiful place you have ever been?

3. If you could describe yourself in one word what would it be?

4. What is the most funny lie you have ever told?

5. Why did you start your blog?

My Nominees:

1. Twenty Tweets

2. Comfortably Chic

3. Gluten Free Gus

4. The Other Courtney

5.Finding Gravity
